Born in Brazil's countryside, Douglas grew up rounded by nature, cartoons, comic books, mangás, animês, videogame and, most of the time, drawing.
In 2016 he moved to Curitiba to study Social Communications at Federal University of Paraná. He concluded his studies in 2022.
In 2017 he studied Concept Art for Videogames at Revolution Digital Art's School.
In 2020 he started to work as a illustrator, his childhood dream.
So far, Doug has won a Bronze Medal at Brazil's Design Award in 2021, got featured in Forbes Under 30 in 2022 (category Design and Architecture), published independently his first comic book at Comic Con Experience (the largest event in LATAM) and got two shortlists at the Latin America Design Award, also in 2022.
He moved to Barcelona in 2025 to study 2D Animation and further develops his skills.
He is always developing and multiplying his art styles. He loves to be in projects with great stories and he puts everything into each line and brushstroke.
In his free time he plays bass, runs, walks his dog and takes care of his plants.
